Head of Growth


The Head of Growth will play a critical role in driving BigPay's user acquisition and engagement. It’s a critical role that looks at our customers’ end-to-end lifecycle journeys and seeks to understand their behaviours - from first app download to power usage. It sits between CRM, performance marketing, consumer insights and business analysis - ensuring that BigPay becomes and remains the preferred choice in all markets. The function requires ongoing collaboration with stakeholders across the organisation, from product to operations, customer experience, data science, and wider marketing disciplines. The Head of Growth is responsible for looking at product insights and user behaviours to improve the conversion rate of our acquisition funnel, long-term user engagement, retention and transaction volume - finding new and data-driven ways to strengthen our brand and accelerate our business growth. About the job

  • Drive and monitor user acquisition and retention for BigPay across all markets
  • Grow and improve performance across paid (Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Apple Search Ads) and owned media (CRM, social, blog…) channels through optimization efforts, oversee daily execution across our portfolio of channels and regularly develop and implement new creative ideas
  • Work closely with the Data Science, Product and Tech teams to improve and transform the marketing acquisition and attribution measurement process as well as to generate actionable insights that will drive our entire business strategy

CRM Lead (Malaysia)


We are hiring a CRM Lead. CRM is a total business strategy, not a system. At BigPay, CRM drives 3 major business metrics; Acquisition, Retention, and Engagement. It is data-driven. It has repeatable customer journeys. Change is a given. It is multi-channel, and always has a customer focus at the heart of strategy. Acquisition. CRM plays a major role in improving conversion rates in the acquisition funnel, harnessing data and insights to optimise the experience, and critically re-targeting users who have bounced out. Retention. The more time our members spend in the app, the more likely they are to spend, track and transfer their money. This has a direct correlation to retention. Driving engagement within the product is key to BigPay’s success. Using a suite of marketing platforms, from app notifications to in-app messaging, to eDMs, the CRM team will help consumers make the most of the BigPay experience, and direct them towards the latest and greatest product features. Driving product usage. CRM channels are one of the most effective ways to increase usage for existing and new product features. The CRM team must drive this usage through education, contextual messaging and data utilisation. The CRM team owns brand, product and content communications across key owned media channels; push notifications, in-app notifications, email and SMS. We need thought leadership in this space, from frequency of messaging, to tone of voice, to measurement and optimisation. Site Reliability Engineer (Malaysia/Singapore)


Reporting to the CTO, BigPay’s development department is responsible for building and maintaining the software which runs the BigPay service.
We are a strongly integrated, high performing team whose members enjoy considerable autonomy, and in which you will be expected to take responsibility for significant projects, develop your skills and mentor other members of your team.
We’re looking for a systems reliability engineer. Your job will be to look after the stability and performance of ourproduction systems as a whole and ensure that they continue to run without incident. When incidents occur, you will be on the front line of investigation and remediation and direct action from our backend, devops and other teams.
Our backend consists of services (microservices or domain-separated monoliths depending on product) written in a variety of languages - Java, Kotlin, Golang and Rust - communicating with Kafka and REST APIs and running on kubernetes in Google Cloud. Most modern code is in rust. Apps in BigPay are mostly written in Dart using flutter, but there is still quite a bit of legacy native code in Objective-C/Swift and Kotlin around.
Web interfaces are built in angular or react and we use python for tooling and data manipulation. Our data is in various databases from postgresql and cockroachdb to BigQuery.
We are technology-agnostic and will adopt the best tool for a job. All our code goes through PR and ships to production via a continuous delivery pipeline. About the job

  • Keeping the Compliance Monitoring Programs (CMP) up to date with the latest regulatory requirements

We are looking for a highly qualified Compliance Officer who will be responsible for developing, implementing and administering all aspects of the Company’s compliance management program.

The successful candidate will carry out all compliance related activities and ensure compliance with the applicable local Singapore laws, rules, regulations and standards, and effectively ensure regulatory conformity and minimize probability of exposure to ML/TF.
About the job The main responsibility of this function will be in the area of AML/CFT prevention and risk mitigation.

  • To ensure the Company’s compliance with the AML/CFT requirements and the regulatory framework
  • To ensure proper implementation of the AML/CFT policies
  • Drafting, reviewing, improving and maintaining standard operating policies, procedures, manuals and the frameworks in respect of AML/CFT
  • Taking the appropriate steps to ensure that the appropriate AML/CFT procedures, including but not limited to, CDD, ECDD, record keeping, on-going due diligence and monitoring, reporting of suspicious transactions, risk based assessments and combating the financing of terrorism, are implemented effectively

To be successful
  • Academic background: Bachelor of Law or Economics Degree or equivalent. In addition, Certification in Regulatory Compliance, professional qualifications or accreditation in the field of compliance, AML and Financial Crime Prevention is a major advantage
  • Experience: At least 8-10 years or more working experience in a fintech and/or a start-up business environment specializing in financial services including e-money business and remittance business operations. Experience in e-money and remittance business operations is a must. Competent, capable and expertise in AML/CFT compliance related matters is a must
  • Knowledge: Excellent knowledge and understanding of the Singaporean regulations is a must. These include Payment Services Act, MAS Notice 3001, Monetary Authority of Singapore Act (Cap 186), Money-changing and Remittance Business Act (Cap 187), MAS Guidelines to the MAS Notice 3001, Terrorism (Suppression of Financing) Act (Cap. 325), Corruption, Drug Trafficking and Other Serious Crimes (Confiscation of Benefits) Act (Cap.650) and any other documents issued by the regulator or any other authorities from time to time relating to compliance with AML/CFT requirements
  • Range of Responsibility/Strategic impact: Used to working under deadlines and under pressure: ability to set up new activities, tackling issues quickly and efficiently; high level of responsibility in front of the regulatory authorities
